April 2023 Report - Cortez, FL
Brethren-
Thank you for your support of me, my family, and the work here in Cortez.
I am happy to report that the work here continues to go well and yield fruit. Our bible classes are regularly attended and much study and learning is taking place. I frequently quiz the students from our youngest class and am so amazed at their level of understanding. This is due in most part to my wife Jenee. (Please allow me to brag!). She is doing an incredible job!
We also have a young man who has asked to teach a class. We’re so excited for his willingness to teach and are looking forward to his lessons. He and his wife moved to the area last year and recently became members at Cortez. It is so refreshing to see people willing to roll up their sleeves and get right to work!
I have been bringing lessons each week on various topics. But staring next month, I plan to bring a series of lessons on the Sermon on the Mount. This section of scripture is so rich it is worth our time to look at it closely and see the lessons contained therein. I am excited about learning more from the direct words from Jesus.
Personally, I continue to due well from my weight loss surgery back in October. I am in great health and feel more empowered to continue to labor in the kingdom. Thank you for your prayers on my behalf.
